Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any GroundRook service — including the Trust Network, the measurement platform, and authority-building services — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are accepting on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the services.

2. Services

GroundRook, operated by Flyin AS, provides digital trust infrastructure connecting brands with verified trust sources. The services include:

• Access to the Trust Network — a marketplace of verified trust sources including media outlets, industry experts, professional communities, and knowledge sources.
• Authority-building services designed to strengthen your brand's credibility with search engines and AI systems.
• A measurement platform for tracking digital trust, visibility, and authority metrics over time.

Flyin AS reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services at any time with reasonable prior notice.

3. Trust Source Obligations

Trust Sources participating in the GroundRook Trust Network must uphold genuine editorial standards at all times. Specifically, you agree that:

• Content published through or in connection with the network must reflect genuine editorial judgment and meet the quality standards set at the time of your verification.
• Link manipulation, paid link schemes, and all other black-hat SEO practices are strictly prohibited. Any such activity constitutes a material breach of these terms.
• Flyin AS may remove any trust source from the network, without prior notice, if it determines that the source no longer meets editorial standards or has engaged in prohibited practices. Removal decisions are final.

4. Intellectual Property

The GroundRook platform — including its software, algorithms, design, data structures, Trust Network infrastructure, and all related intellectual property — is owned by Flyin AS and is protected under Norwegian and international intellectual property law. No license to any Flyin AS intellectual property is granted beyond the limited right to use the services as described herein.

Clients and Trust Sources retain full ownership of their own content. By submitting content through the services, you grant Flyin AS a limited, non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content solely for the purpose of providing the services.

5. Payment

Fees for GroundRook services are specified in individual agreements between the client and Flyin AS. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Fees are invoiced monthly in Norwegian kroner (NOK) with a payment term of 14 days.
• Late payments are subject to statutory interest under Norwegian law (forsinkelsesrenteloven).
• All prices are stated exclusive of VAT (MVA) unless explicitly noted otherwise.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Flyin AS's total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or in connection with these terms or the services — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — is limited to the total fees you paid to Flyin AS in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Flyin AS is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The services are provided "as is" and Flyin AS makes no warranties as to specific outcomes in search rankings, AI visibility, or brand perception.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement by providing 30 days written notice to the other party. Flyin AS may terminate immediately, without prior notice, in the event of a material breach of these terms — including but not limited to prohibited SEO practices, non-payment, or conduct that damages the integrity of the Trust Network.

Upon termination, your right to access the services ceases immediately. Accrued fees and any provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including sections on intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Oslo courts (Oslo tingrett as court of first instance).
